ATA’s Sensors and Systems team has the technology, expertise, and ingenuity that enables us to customize each solution to meet our client’s unique objectives.  We also have a state-of-the-art facility in the Sandia Science and Technology Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico where we fabricate and test these solutions. ATA’s management system is ISO 9001:2008 certified.  The core technologies of our Sensors and Systems business thrust are rooted in the Inertial Sensing and Line-of-Sight Stabilization solutions we have refined over the last several decades.  Our solid capabilities in these areas give us an unparalleled foundation that we are continually building upon for our customers.  These customers include multiple organizations within the Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, and International organizations as well as many of the large DoD aerospace primes. 

ATA is recognized as an industry leader in the design of rugged, precision Magnetohydrodynamic angular rate sensors (MHD ARSs).  Available in both commercial and space-qualified versions, ATA’s angular rate sensors have proven superior on the ground, in the air, and in extended space flight. 

ATA’s Inertial Solutions portfolio includes MHD angular rate sensors, inertial measurement units, inertial reference units, reconfigurable test systems, accelerometer packages, image stabilization units, and non-magnetic northfinding units, such as our NorthFinder.  Our Line-of-Sight Stabilization portfolio includes fast steering mirrors and optical inertial reference units.
